Dorayaki are the most famous Japanese pancakes. Unlike the American ones, these are filled inside with chocolate cream or any kind of jam you want. They are very tasty, soft and the recipe is very simple.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 2 eggs
- 40g of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 90 grams of flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 10ml of water
Preparation:
On a bowl, break the eggs and add sugar, honey, vanilla extract and mix them well with a kitchen wire.
Then add the flour, baking powder and mix well until it becomes a dough. At the end, add the water, mix and cover the bowl with a kitchen bag for 10 minutes.
At a low temperature, bake the pancakes in the pan by filling it with a spoon full of dough. As soon as you see the bubbles, turn the pancake on the other side. Wait a minute and then remove from heat.
Spread the pancakes on one side with nutella or any jam you want, join the painted parts and seal well around with your hand, so that the filling does not come out. Finally, cut in the middle and serve. May you be well! Enjoy!
