All the ingredients you need for this pizza dough are:
- 2.5 cups of warm water
- 1 medium spoon of sugar
- 2 medium spoons of bread yeast
- 7 cups of flour
- 1.5 medium spoons of salt
- 6 medium spoons of olive oil
In a deep container, pour 2.5 cups of warm water, 1 medium spoon of sugar and 2 medium spoons of bread yeast. Mix all these well together for 2-3 minutes. In another container, put 7 cups of flour and 1.5 medium spoons of salt.
We mix the flour with salt. We make a hole in the flour and pour 6 medium spoons of olive oil and then pour the warm water with bread yeast. Mix well with a spoon, if necessary if the dough remains too wet, add a little flour from time to time.
Once the homogeneous mass is obtained, we knead it well by hand for 5 minutes, pressing it well. Then, we put the dough in a plastic container painted with olive oil, turning the dough on all sides to get oiled.
Cover the container with the ball of dough with a plastic bag and let it rest for 3-4 hours so that the dough becomes as soft as possible. But even if you need it quickly, you can let it rest for an hour if the room temperature is not low.
Then, after removing it from the container when the dough has risen well, take it out, dust it with flour, and compact it a little more. If you need to make four large pizzas, this dough is ideal. If you only want two pizzas, divide the dough in half with a knife, and save the other half for next time.
